We headed out for "Rockin' Lunch Hour" for the first concert of the summer. We've attended a couple of these pre-school concerts the last two summers, but this summer Claire's finally starting to be more in the target age group. She had a blast. And when they asked for volunteers to go dance up on stage, she was right there! When Daddy called later, she excitedly told him all about it. And the last couple of hours she's been singing a couple of the new songs she learned. I guess this means we'll have to try to go back every week this summer, rather than just a couple of times.
While she rushed up to the stage as soon as they asked for volunteers, she didn't do any of the movements that went with the songs. She just stood to the side and did her own thing!
This is a video from last week that I never got around to posting. I caught Claire totally getting into the music. She even had her eyes closed as she was dancing. Of course as soon as she saw me with the camera, she stopped. She does not like it when I take video of her, so it's rare to get any good video clips these days.

yes, my thought is come in on the 2nd and stay for a few weeks....we'll see what happens as we want to know who'll be around and available for housing while I search for houses!! And maybe we'd be able to meet lil' Kach!!!
Ha! It looks like she got her dancing lessons from the movie "Hitch".
