Claire has something in her hand/hands in almost every picture. I'm betting that what ever it is wiggles or crawls--or at least did before the fist got it!
Yes, she was collecting ladybugs and box elder bugs. She was annoyed that I was trying to take pictures when all she wanted to do was bug hunt! That's why there are no smiles!

In my childhood i also enjoy weekend at my farm house between trees. It was a wonderful time. I always miss that time. Best of luck kids.
