These girls were sooo excited about the first snow of the season! Yesterday morning I told Claire that it was supposed to snow in the afternoon and she sat and watched out the window all morning. Then at lunchtime, I heard "It's snowing! It's snowing! Hooray, hooray, it's snowing!" coming from her bedroom. The girls ran from window to window checking to make sure it was snowing everywhere. Oh, to be that excited about snow! But then again, I might enjoy it a little more if I didn't have to shovel it or drive in it.
Claire could spend all day playing in the snow. Grace, however is more like me. She was complaining about the cold after only a few minutes. She just kept asking to go inside, have hot chocolate and watch a movie.
